On June 6, 2024, Lunden Roberts, the former stripper and ex-lover of Hunter Biden, sat down with Piers Morgan for an exclusive interview. During this conversation, she disclosed that neither Joe Biden nor Jill Biden had made any effort to meet their five-year-old granddaughter, whom she had with Hunter.
“No. No, I have not [heard from either Joe or Jill],” Roberts bluntly responded to Morgan’s inquiry.
Roberts, now 33, recounted the distressing period when she discovered her pregnancy. She admitted to having suicidal thoughts, describing it as “one of the loneliest times” of her life. This was exacerbated by Hunter abandoning her upon learning of the pregnancy. As reported by Breitbart, Roberts went through severe emotional and mental turmoil during this period.
“I went through some pretty dark times emotionally and mentally during that time… I knew that, as long as I was pregnant, I wasn’t going to do anything to myself, because that would harm my child… But I would feel that, after the pregnancy, would it be better for my daughter and for Hunter and everyone else if I wasn’t here? Because it seemed like a scandal, and a burden what I felt at those times,” she confided to Morgan.
Hunter’s Denial and Its Impact
Roberts expressed her pain when recalling a 2019 New Yorker profile in which Hunter Biden denied ever having any sexual relationship with her. The article left her speechless and deeply hurt.
“I can remember just reading it and just not having any words,” she said, still visibly affected by the memory.
The relationship between Hunter and Roberts began at the Mpire Club in Washington D.C., where she performed under the stage name “Dallas.” Despite her role as a stripper, Roberts found herself employed by Hunter’s company for nine months, during which he was also involved with his late brother’s widow, Hallie, and struggling with a crack addiction.
“He had a demon on his back. He was obviously suffering from addiction during that time. But he had my attention. I was intrigued,” Roberts shared, shedding light on the complexities of their relationship.
The Unmet Granddaughter
Roberts also discussed the limited interactions between her daughter, Navy, and Hunter. While they have had some Zoom meetings, they have never met in person. Navy, now aware of her father’s turbulent life, has patiently waited to see him.
“She’s waited five years. She can wait a couple more months,” Roberts remarked about the potential future meeting, clearly disappointed by Hunter’s absence in Navy’s life.
Roberts’ revelations paint a poignant picture of a woman grappling with abandonment and the struggle to secure a place for her daughter in the Biden family. Her story highlights the emotional and psychological toll of her relationship with Hunter Biden and the broader implications for their daughter, Navy.
Our Take
Roberts’ story is a sobering reminder of the struggles many face behind closed doors, even within high-profile families. The refusal of Joe and Jill Biden to acknowledge their granddaughter is not just a family matter but a reflection of broader societal issues. This situation is particularly concerning as it showcases a lack of accountability and empathy from public figures who should set a higher standard.
The Bidens’ apparent neglect of their granddaughter raises questions about their commitment to family values. For the public, this is troubling because it suggests a possible disconnect between their public personas and private actions. Such dissonance can undermine public trust and highlight the need for transparency and integrity from those in power.
