Recently released internal documents from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) have unveiled troubling plans by the Biden administration to label Trump supporters as domestic terrorists. The documents, brought to light by AFL, detail discussions among key intelligence officials like Brennan and Clapper. They revealed a chilling strategy where “most of the domestic terrorism threat now comes from supporters of the former president.”
These revelations show how the current administration plans to identify individuals who are likely to commit “domestic violent extremist” attacks. Worryingly, they focus particularly on those who support President Trump, are “in the military,” or are “religious.”
Profiling Patriots and Believers
According to the leaked documents, the Brennan-Clapper committee has developed a national security strategy that uses military affiliation or religious beliefs as indicators of extremism. This tactic serves as a pretext for DHS to surveil and profile these individuals. They argue that people fitting these profiles should be viewed with heightened suspicion and are potential threats.
This approach implies that anyone with a military background or strong religious convictions is automatically suspect. The group emphasized, “we should be more worried about these” individuals, underscoring the belief that the domestic terrorism threat now predominantly comes from Trump supporters.
Expert Opinions on Brennan’s Influence
Retired Brigadier General Anthony Tata has expressed grave concerns about John Brennan’s role and influence. Tata warns, “John Brennan is a clear and present danger and a threat to this nation. He supports the overthrow of this particular president (Trump), and he needed to have his access to information revoked.”
Questions have been raised about Brennan’s past, especially considering his support for Soviet-tied Communist Gus Hall. How did such an individual rise to the head of the CIA? Brennan, along with Clapper and Comey, has a history marred by involvement with the discredited dossier, revealing a pattern of deceit and manipulation.
Our Take
The implications of these DHS documents are deeply concerning. The Biden administration’s willingness to label and surveil Americans based on their political views, military service, or religious beliefs sets a dangerous precedent. This approach not only undermines civil liberties but also fosters division and mistrust among the population. It’s a blatant attempt to vilify and suppress political opposition, which is harmful to the fabric of our democracy. Americans must be vigilant and push back against such overreaching government actions to preserve our freedoms.
