Unfortunately, this gathering turned chaotic when gunfire broke out among rival factions, disrupting what was meant to be a communal celebration of peace and reflection.

At approximately 2:30 p.m., shots were fired, causing panic among the crowd. Nearby police officers, initially engaged in routine duties, were quickly drawn into a grave situation as they responded to the emergency. Witnesses described a scene of disorder, likened to “an elephant stampede,” with parents and children desperately seeking safety. The rapid response of law enforcement prevented a bad situation from becoming even worse, showcasing the critical role they play in maintaining public order.
