Bill Gates’ long-time personal chef has exposed the billionaire’s hypocrisy when it comes to promoting lab-grown and plant-based meats. Contrary to his public endorsement of synthetic and plant-based products, Gates reportedly ensures that his family avoids these items at their Medina, Washington estate, known as Xanadu 2.
According to the chef, the Gates family dinner table is always adorned with organic, grass-fed lean beef, and wild-caught salmon. This revelation starkly contrasts Gates’ push for consumers to adopt plant-based and lab-grown alternatives. While he encourages the public to embrace these ultra-processed foods, his own household sticks to natural, high-quality ingredients. The hypocrisy is enough to make one question the motives behind his advocacy.
Adding to the controversy, recent studies have raised serious health concerns about these synthetic products, which Gates and his globalist allies at the World Economic Forum (WEF) aggressively promote as solutions to climate change.
Health Risks Associated with Synthetic Meat
Bill Gates has championed synthetic meat as a sustainable alternative to traditional meat, even suggesting that wealthy nations should transition to 100% synthetic beef. In his book “How to Avoid a Climate Disaster” and in interviews, Gates insists that lab-grown and plant-based meats are essential for reducing carbon emissions. However, a recent study challenges the safety of these products.
Researchers from the University of São Paulo and Imperial College London examined the diets of over 118,000 UK residents aged 40 to 69. Their findings, published in Lancet Regional Health, revealed that those who consumed synthetic meat products faced a higher risk of severe heart disease and premature death. Specifically, for every 10% increase in plant-based food consumption, the risk of death from heart disease fell by 20%. Conversely, an increase in consumption of ultra-processed plant-based meats led to a 12% rise in heart disease-related deaths.
Dr. Eszter Vamos, a co-author of the study, pointed out the misleading marketing of these products. “While ultra-processed foods are often marketed as healthy, this large study suggests that plant-based ultra-processed foods do not have protective health effects and are linked to poor health outcomes,” she said.
Government and Industry Pushback
Despite these findings, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the sale of lab-grown meat products, with minimal testing and no mandatory labeling. This means consumers might unknowingly purchase and consume these potentially harmful products.
Joe Rogan has also criticized Gates’ synthetic meat, arguing that these ultra-processed items are harmful to both the environment and human health. Rogan’s skepticism is shared by a growing number of consumers and lawmakers. The lack of transparency and rigorous testing for these new products has sparked significant public concern.
Governments are starting to respond. Italy was the first nation to ban synthetic meats outright. Florida has followed suit, with Governor Ron DeSantis moving to outlaw the WEF’s agenda to push lab-grown meat and insects as primary food sources. “Florida is taking action to stop the World Economic Forum’s goal of forcing the world to eat lab-grown meat and insects,” DeSantis announced. He emphasized the state’s commitment to supporting local farmers and ranchers, ensuring the availability of natural beef.
Our Take
Bill Gates’ advocacy for synthetic and plant-based meats while avoiding them at his own dinner table is a classic example of “do as I say, not as I do.” This double standard is deeply troubling, especially given the potential health risks associated with these products. The FDA’s approval of lab-grown meat without comprehensive testing and labeling only exacerbates the issue, putting consumers at risk.
The recent bans on synthetic meats in Italy and Florida are steps in the right direction. These actions demonstrate a growing awareness and resistance to the globalist agenda, which prioritizes profit and control over public health and safety. It’s crucial for more states and nations to follow suit, protecting their citizens from untested and potentially dangerous food products. Supporting local farmers and natural food sources should be a priority, ensuring the public has access to healthy, safe, and transparent food options.
